Are you a senior landscape architect with passion and a creative flair to project delivery?

The Role

Working in our studio space in Manchester, the role is part of a growing team, involved in a diverse range of challenging and exciting schemes across the UK.  The successful candidate will be CMLI qualified with several years’ experience within landscape consultancy. They will have a passion for Landscape Architecture, have an ability to manage projects independently, creative flair, excellent design ability, graphic and communication skills. In return, there will be the opportunity to develop to a senior role within the business. As a multidisciplinary consultancy, the successful candidate will work alongside our in-house urban designers, landscape planners, arboriculture and ecology.

Key Responsibilities

These will include, but are not limited to:

  • Leading and managing multidisciplinary projects.
  • Managing and engaging clients, consultants and internal teams.
  • Delivering projects through all the Landscape Institute / RIBA work stages to a consistently high standard.
  • Delivering a creative and inspiring design solutions whilst adopting a pragmatic approach.
  • Maintaining high quality standards every time.
  • Demonstrating efficient and profitable delivery.

Essential Requirements

The successful candidate must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Landscape Architecture degree.
  • CMLI qualified.
  • Several years’ experience in the landscape consultancy profession.
  • Enthusiastic and passionate approach.
  • Experience of managing multiple projects.
  • Proven ability to manage clients, consultants and internal teams.
  • Enthusiastic, passionate and a flexible approach.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Strong CAD, graphic (Adobe) and hand drawn sketching capability.
  • Excellent organisational, written and communication skills.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Strong working knowledge of the planning process, and Planning and Environmental legislation.
