Are you an experienced arboricultural surveyor looking for a new role?
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out VTA tree surveys using hand held mobile devices with the occasional BS5837 survey. The role will be mainly site based with time in the office as and when required. This is a new role in response to an increase in workload.
Essential Requirements
Relevant qualification to level 4 or above;
Tree surveying experience;
Good understanding of arboricultural principles and a passion for urban forestry;
Computer and IT literate with experience in using Microsoft Office;
Understanding of targets and deadlines;
Initiative and drive, with a positive attitude;
Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure to deadlines;
Enthusiastic and flexible approach to work;
Ability to work under your own initiative and as part of a team;
Strong interpersonal skills and able to work at all levels with members of the public; and
A valid UK driving licence.
Desirable Requirements
GIS proficiency;
Flexibility to work away from home on occasions;
Professional Tree Inspection Certificate (PTI);
Understanding of Tree Preservation Orders and Legislation;
CAD experience:
Knowledge of planning systems; and
Good report writing and language skills.
