Backford Hall plans receive the go ahead

  • 9 Jul 2014

We are very happy to have contributed arboriculture and landscape services to the now approved application to transform the stunning grade-two listed building Backford Hall, near Chester and surrounding grounds into 10 apartments and 55 homes.

The hall is a mixture of Jacobean and Elizabethan architecture and will make beautiful affordable homes.

Manchester developers Jones Homes have been granted planning permission from Cheshire West & Chester Council following provision of a tree report; woodland management plan and landscape design plans by our landscape and arboriculture teams. Our plans will ensure the restoration and maintenance of the historic landscape and enhance the habitat value of the site and have assured Cheshire West & Chester Council that development will not be detrimental to the openness of the Green Belt.

An article was published in Place North West about the approved plans.
