Team Building Day at the Anderton Centre

  • 3 Jun 2025

This year’s annual team-building event saw sunshine, camaraderie, and a series of creative challenges as our team headed to the stunning Anderton Centre near Lower Rivington Reservoir.

With nature as our backdrop, the day was designed to encourage collaboration, problem-solving, and—most importantly—fun.

Our programme included four thoughtfully curated activities, each aimed at enhancing trust, communication, and teamwork:

  • Low Ropes Course – Encouraging balance, trust, and support as team members navigated obstacles just above the ground.
  • Buggy Building – Creativity and collaboration were key as teams worked together to construct and their own buggies.
  • Berlin Wall Challenge – A test of strategy and unity, this activity required teams to overcome both physical and mental barriers.
  • Rafted Canoe Challenge – After launching onto the Lower Rivington Reservoir, teams used the What3Words app to navigate to specific coordinates around Lever Park before paddling back to shore.

We wrapped up the day with a visit to the Rivington Brewing Co., where we relaxed with locally brewed drinks and took in the beautiful views. It was the perfect ending to a memorable day.

Team building is about creating space for relationships to grow, for communication to thrive, and for individuals to feel connected and valued. We’re grateful for a truly fabulous team that made the most of every moment.

Here’s to more shared experiences!
