Our garden was awarded a silver medal by TV gardener Rachel De Thame. Well done everyone!
Despite the pouring rain and ankle-deep mud, all of the Urban Green team got involved and worked extremely hard to completely clear and replant the entire Hanging Ditch garden as part of the Dig the City Festival.
Using a wide range of flowering plants, ferns and grasses, kindly provided by J. A Jones & Sons, the once neglected space on Victoria Street has been transformed into a beautiful garden for visitors and residents to enjoy during the festival and for years to come.
We are very proud to have been able to see our designs through to completion and couldn’t be happier with the feedback that we have been receiving. We hope as many people as possible will pay it a visit!
