Planning permission has successfully been granted to convert St James’ House, a 33,396 sq ft office in Newcastle city centre into a £15.5m purpose-built student development.
Working on behalf of Crosslane Student Developments, part of Crosslane Group, Urban Green’s in-house Digital Imagery team have produced various high resolution CGI’s and animations for the internal and external spaces for the refurbished development. These have supported the design and planning process but will primarily be utilised for promotion and marketing to prospective student residents.
The former office will be transformed into a 140-bed student residence and will offer communal facilities including a common room, gym, private kitchen and dining room, study room and cinema room; all of which have been created digitally with photo realistic imagery by Urban Green
St James’ House will be operated by Prime Student Living, Crosslane’s student accommodation management arm, ready for the start of the 2016-2017 academic year in September.
Martin King, Director explains “We have worked closely with Crosslane and the architects, DAY Architectural to deliver the desired interior design solutions for the internal images
