Urban Green has been successful in being appointed to South Derbyshire District Council’s Planning and Construction Design Consultancy Framework Agreement across four Lots; Landscape Architecture, Arboriculture, Bio-Diversity and Sustainability.
The framework is the result of the Council’s ongoing need for Landscape Architects to assist with planning applications and appeals, with a longer term requirement for consultants to help deliver the Council’s Housing Capital Investment Programme.
The framework will run for three years, with an option to extend for a further year.
Urban Green has already been appointed to deliver two contracts through the framework; the Landscape Consultant to deliver the HLF funded redevelopment of Diana Memorial Garden in Swadlincote and review of a planning application including a Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment (LVIA) and arboriculture survey.
Martin King, Director of Urban Green explains “I am delighted that Urban Green has been appointed to this framework. It demonstrates our growth and ambition in the marketplace is being recognised and we are establishing Urban Green as a consultant of choice. We look forward to supporting and working closely with South Derbyshire over the coming years to meet their needs.”
