Easter Bake Off for Dr Kershaw’s Hospice

Urban Green held another Easter Charity Bake off for Dr Kershaw's Hospice

This year’s Easter Bake Off competition showcased a fabulous range of yummy treats, including a chocolate-loaded cheesecake, classic lemon drizzle, and freshly baked hot cross buns. The team proudly presented their bakes to our judges Jill and Jo who joined us from Dr Kershaw’s Hospice. With such a high standard across the board, the competition was fierce, making the judges’ decision no easy task. The team were very relieved to know, unlike previous years, we avoided the ‘requires improvement’ award – showing the outstanding effort and creativity of everyone involved this year!

After much anticipation, the winning bakes were a gorgeously fluffy Victoria sponge by Andrew Lewthwaite, securing first place. And a Maltesers biscuit bar by Jennifer Hales awarded second place.

 

 

Thank you to everyone who got involved in the competition and brought in delicious bakes for the whole office park to enjoy. We raised a total of £213.12! We’re proud to once again support our Charity of the Year, Dr Kershaw’s Hospice, and look forward to raising even more!
