The fashion company, one of the borough’s largest employers is planning a new 76,000 sq ft head office as part of a mission to improve facilities at its Pilsworth Road complex. JD Group has lodged a hybrid planning application with Bury Council to create the building, which would feature office space, a gym and a restaurant. A creche, aimed at meeting the childcare needs of JD employees, and outdoor sports facilities including an all-weather pitch also feature within the proposals.
