A highly motivated and talented Landscape Planner is sort to join our dynamic and experienced team.

Key Responsibilities

Urban Green is seeking a talented and experienced Landscape Architect to join our multi-disciplinary team, in response to continued growth. Our current portfolio includes a wide variety of projects and clients particularly in the residential and urban regeneration sectors.

You will work primarily within our Landscape Planning team, leading and delivering on ESs, EIAs, LVIAs, LVAs, TVIAs, TVAs and Green Belt Assessments on a range of projects across various sectors. You will support on business development activities including fee proposals.

 

Essential Requirements

  • Degree/post-graduate qualification in Landscape Architecture, EIA or a relevant qualification
  • 2 years minimum landscape planning consultancy experience delivering across various scales/sectors
  • Experience of supporting, leading and delivering ESs, EIAs, LVIAs, LVAs, TVIAs, TVAs, Green Belt Assessments to a high level – utilising GLVIA and other current guidance
  • Strong working knowledge of the UK planning system and environmental legislation
  • Experience of working within multidisciplinary project teams and communicating with clients
  • Experience of GIS, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch Up and AutoCAD
  • Excellent report writing and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent illustrative and presentation skills
  • Ability to work and thrive under pressure to meet project deadlines
  • Self-motivated with excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Friendly and creative team player, and open to sharing ideas
  • Flexibility and willingness to work across a range of projects
  • Ability to innovate, provide solutions and add value

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience of attending Planning Appeal hearings
