Marple Dale has successfully gained planning consent for a modest and considered 19-unit residential scheme on the site of a disused care facility within the Green Belt.
Working closely with Seddon Homes and the wider project team, Urban Green developed a landscape-led approach which responded to the unique challenges of the site, in particular making a case for a reduced impact on the openness of the Green Belt and utilising vacant building credits to provide a sensible quantum of desirable market dwellings whilst providing ecological enhancements and improving access to public open space.
