Planning permission has been secured on a unique family home in the Rossendale countryside.
Urban Green worked closely with MAZE Planning Solutions and FuZED Architecture in formulating a clear strategy and preparing landscape, arboriculture and ecological information for the proposed sustainable dwelling located within land designated as open countryside and adjacent to a woodland and stream.
The design’s intention sees the building integrated into the existing landscape as sensitively as possible, utilising local materials and appropriate planting and ecological enhancement.
Working collectively it took 18 months to work through pre-application negotiations and the preparation of a development package to overcome two previous planning refusals.
