Contemporary inner city living and multi-functional public realm

Churchgate forms part of the second phase of a luxury pioneering city centre development offering 167 contemporary apartments and eight exclusive triplexes with private terraces to suit every modern day living. A public square, wildflower garden and terraces provide enjoyment for residents all year round.

Public square

Urban Green worked closely with Ollier Smurthwaite Architects to develop the public realm design resulting in a detailed planning consent.

Contemporary outdoor space created the setting for the new modern mixed-use building. A shared surface approach was adopted in line with Manual for Streets 2 principles created with high-quality natural materials to the Council’s adopted highway standards.

Mature street trees and bespoke street furniture define spaces and add character to the streetscape and the public square.

A tenth-floor communal roof garden is abundant with wildflowers providing barbecue and picnic areas.
