Operating as part of a wider multi-disciplinary team means we take a balanced view of any situation and offering advice that is realistic and practical to benefit the scheme and the site’s biodiversity.
With a thorough understanding of current and potential ecological value and constraints, we can identify the most appropriate mitigation or protection methods to support your development or planning application.
We work on a full range of developments from housing, commercial and industrial schemes to major infrastructure projects. Often this requires us to present surveys, assessments and mitigation schemes to regulators and at public inquiries and hearings.
Our ecologists are all members of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM) and are licensed by Natural England to undertake protected species surveys for great crested newts, bats, otter, dormice, badgers, water voles and birds.
